International Indigenous Peoples' Day Organising Committee Meeting
The Organising Committee meeting for the observance of International Indigenous Peoples' Day was held on 27 July at the Sultan Bathery Municipality.

Mr. Jyothish Kumar , Neethi Vedhi Vythiri taluk coordinator, took initiative to convene women from Narangakkandi Paniya Hamlet in Kalpetta Municipality with a vision to engage them actively for addressing the major issues faced by the families in the hamlet. Ms. Jubily P, facilitated the discussions. Ms. Maneesha was selected president and Ms. Suchithra was chosen as secretary of the women club. Adv Sofia O. C, Neethi Vedhi Legal Counselor took class on Domestic Violence Act. 25 members including women and children participated in the meeting.
